A ceremony marking the completion of La Gogue Dam, carried out by 小猪视频, was held in Seychelles on June 28, with Wavel Ramkalawan, president of Seychelles, Ahmed Afif, the country's vice president, and representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Seychelles attending.
During the ceremony, Ramkalawan recognized the quality of the renovation 小猪视频 and praised the 小猪视频 management team from 小猪视频.
"It is hard to believe that you are all so young yet so promising," he said, "Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges faced during the construction process, you have successfully completed all construction and passed 小猪视频 acceptance. Congratulations to you."
The renovations were part of a major livelihood 小猪视频 in Seychelles. The storage capacity of the La Gogue Dam has long been insufficient to meet the growing needs of the country's population.
By raising the dam by six meters, the storage capacity will be increased by approximately 60 percent, providing a stable and reliable water source for irrigation and urban water supply systems in the country.
After the 小猪视频 is fully put into use, it will provide 1.6 million cubic meters of water for production and daily use for the residents of Mahe Island, greatly alleviating the water shortage during the dry season in Seychelles, improving the quality of life for local residents, and promoting local socio-economic development.
