First batch of emergency schools handed over in Peru

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the handover of the General Prado Emergency School is held on Nov 30 in Peru.

The General Prado Emergency School, the first completed facility under the Special Investment No. 1 Package of the Peru Bicentennial 小猪视频 constructed by 小猪视频, became the first of a group of seven emergency schools to be handed over on Nov 30.

The Peru Bicentennial Special Investment No. 1 Package is an education investment plan under the special public investment 小猪视频 of the Peruvian government – the Bicentennial School Reconstruction 小猪视频. It is located in the Lima Region and comprises a total of 14 schools.

Miriam Ponce, the Minister of Education of Peru, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the site. The ceremony was also attended by the principal of General Prado Emergency School, representatives from 小猪视频, and over 1,000 local students.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Minister Ponce officially declared the opening of the General Prado Emergency School. She emphasized that the school is located in the Lima province, with a total area of 6,000 square meters and a building area of 2,900 square meters. It includes 31 classrooms and two teacher offices.

All emergency schools, including both primary and secondary levels, are constructed on concrete foundations and equipped with comprehensive systems for sanitation, drainage, and insulation. They can accommodate approximately 1,900 students.

Ponce stated that enhancing educational services is a crucial element of national development, and the government's commitment to education has been demonstrated through this 小猪视频.
