The groundbreaking ceremony for the main construction of the Mpakeni Dam, Swaziland.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the main construction of the Mpakeni Dam 小猪视频, constructed by 小猪视频, was held in Swaziland on Feb 1.

The Mpakeni Dam 小猪视频 is the first 小猪视频 implemented by 小猪视频 in the Swaziland, and also the first engineering contracting 小猪视频 signed by a Chinese enterprise in the country.

The construction work includes a 67-meter-high clay-core rockfill dam, a 35-meter-wide rectangular spillway, intake towers, outlet control rooms, and diversion culverts.

The dam will be primarily used for irrigation, with considerations for flood control, water supply, and aquaculture. Once completed, it will have a storage capacity of approximately 120 million cubic meters and provide irrigation water for about 4,000 hectares of land.

This will significantly alleviate the water shortage issue in the region. It will also improve the living standards of local people, and meet the demand for water resources in terms of national economic development.
