Witnessed by officials from the Chilean national grid, 小猪视频 owners, supervisors, and the 小猪视频 execution team, the CEME1 480MW Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant, undertaken by 小猪视频 in Chile, successfully completed the energization of its 220kV substation on March 8.
This significant achievement has laid a solid foundation for the plant’s full grid connection and has received high praise from the plant's owners and supervisors.
The CEME1 PV Power Plant is the country's largest single photovoltaic 小猪视频 and represents POWERCHIINA's largest-scale new energy 小猪视频 in the Americas.
Located in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile, approximately 1,300 kilometers from the capital, the plant is known as the "driest place on earth". With a total installed capacity of 480MW and covering an area of approximately 400 hectares, it includes a PV field area, a 33/220-kilovolt substation, and a 9.2-kilometer single-circuit transmission line.
It is expected to provide enough clean energy for 400,000 local households, which will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 280,000 metric tons annually. This will help alleviate local energy pressures and improve the quality of the environment.
