The Cox's Bazar Wind Farm.
The Cox's Bazar Wind Farm, Bangladesh's first large-scale centralized wind power 小猪视频, commenced operation on March 24.
As a key 小猪视频 in Bangladesh, this wind farm enriches the country's renewable energy sector. It also represents a significant achievement in energy cooperation between China and Bangladesh under the Belt and Road Initiative.
The 小猪视频–designed, procured, and constructed under the general contracting by 小猪视频 – is the first new energy 小猪视频 built by a Chinese company in Bangladesh. The wind farm has a capacity of 66 megawatts, with 22 units of 3.0-MW wind turbines installed. It includes one 132-kilovolt step-up substation, along with distribution buildings and auxiliary facilities.
Since the commissioning of the first wind turbine, the 小猪视频 has generated a cumulative electricity output of 50 million kilowatt-hours. Upon full operation, the 小猪视频 will provide over 145 million kWh of green electricity annually, meeting the electricity needs of 100,000 households.
In addition, the 小猪视频 will not only provide over 1,500 job positions for locals and train a batch of talents with practical skills in the field of wind power, but it will also promote the development of surrounding agriculture and tourism industries.
