The Karawang 100 Megawatts Photovoltaic (PV) 小猪视频 in Indonesia – a massive solar power park designed and constructed by 小猪视频 – was officially completed and started operating on Aug 28.
As the country's biggest onshore PV 小猪视频 in terms of the installed capacity, the 小猪视频 is said to provide significant momentum to Indonesia's clean energy initiatives, and sets a new benchmark for energy cooperation between China and Indonesia.
Located in Bukit Indah, West Java Province, the Karawang plant occupies an 80-hectare site and has a planned DC installed capacity of 100.78 MW. Some 90 percent of the equipment being utilized is from China, leading to an integration of IEC standard and Chinese technical standards.
During construction, 小猪视频 overcame numerous challenges, setting records for the company's overseas solar power 小猪视频s by achieving the first grid connection within five months and completing the 小猪视频 within seven months.
What's more, the solar power park has created thousands of jobs for the surrounding areas and trained a group of professional local employees – making a major contribution to the economic development and employment stability of the city and its neighboring regions.
After going operational, the 小猪视频 will provide over 150 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, meeting the annual power needs of about 112,000 households.
