Physical Therapy Student Clinic for 小猪视频 Community

Students Gain Experience Before Clinicals

The 小猪视频 Physical Therapy Student Clinic is proud to deliver high-quality and evidence-based care to 小猪视频 students, faculty and staff. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students in the Department of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology gain experience working with patients before clinicals under the guidance of Massachusetts licensed physical therapists. The 小猪视频 community receives no-cost physical therapy services while helping students learn.

Client Testimonial

鈥淚 still have a way to go before I am pain-free, but I intend to keep up the exercises and get back into the clinic during spring semester and continue until my shoulder pain is totally gone, or at least improves significantly.鈥

Students Practice Interacting, Admitting and Treating Patients

Faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology designed the clinical experience for first- and second-year DPT students to practice interacting, admitting and treating patients prior to their formal clinical education assignments. Second-year DPT students also provide peer-to-peer mentorship to the first-year students.

Student Testimonials

鈥淚t was great to work in groups to see how other students approached treatments.鈥
鈥擝rittany Turner, second year DPT student

鈥淚t鈥檚 always a good idea to get exposure to as many different patient cases as possible to be a more well-rounded clinician.鈥
鈥擫ucas Abreu, second year DPT student
