The Office of National Scholarships offers advice and support before, during and after the application process, which can often be time-consuming and complex. Goldwater

  • Description:听The purpose of the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation is to alleviate a critical current and future shortage of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians and engineers.

  • Description:听The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) offers competitive scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research.

Fulbright

  • Description:听The Fulbright grants support an individually designed study/research plan, artistic project or English Teaching Assistantship that will take place during one academic year in a country outside the U.S.听
  • Award: Amounts vary by country but the award covers the following for nine to 12 months: round-trip international flight/transportation; settling-in expenses, baggage allowance, etc.; monthly stipend to cover living costs, accommodation and incidentals; research allowance; language allowance (dependent on country); accident and sickness coverage

Gates Cambridge

  • Description:听Gates Cambridge Scholarships are highly competitive full-cost scholarships awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.

Marshall

  • Description:听Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for graduate degrees in the United Kingdom at an UK institution in any field of study.

Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD)

  • Description:听The Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD)/ German Academic Exchange Service is a private, publicly funded, self-governing organization of higher education institutions in Germany.
  • Award: $750 to $2,300/month plus insurance and round-trip travel expenses for short-term (one to six months) and long-term ( more than seven months) study, research and internships.
