Pre-Law Society and Mock Trial

The Dr. Francis T. Talty 鈥77 Pre-Law Society, formed and recognized as an official student organization at 小猪视频 in 2006, provides a forum for 小猪视频 students to participate in organized activities relating to the American courts and the country's legal system, including:

  • UML Mock Trial team, which competes each year against many of the nation's top universities and colleges
  • Serving UML students in information gathering and sharing toward law school planning, including:
    • Attending law school forums where law school admissions representatives and advisors meet with students on an individual basis
    • Forming an LSAT exam study group, where UML students learn from lawyers and former students who have taken the LSAT about techniques for succeeding on the exam, and thereby increasing the likelihood and quality of law school acceptances offered to UML students.
